An early Saturday morning traffic crash has killed the driver of a car which crashed on Interstate 10 near the Gadsden/Jackson County line at the 162 Mile Marker.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the single car crash happened when the driver drifted into the median while traveling eastbound on I-10. The driver then over-corrected, traveled across both eastbound lanes onto the shoulder.
The car then went down an embankment and rolled over several times before landing on its roof.
Troopers say the driver was not wearing a seat-belt.
The identity of the fatality is being withheld until the victim’s relatives are notified.
