Jackson County Woman Arrested On Drug Charges

Jackson County- A Jackson County woman is in jail on drug charges.

Kristy Lynn Clements of Alford was arrested Sunday after deputies saw her truck parked on the shoulder of a Jackson County road.

When they went to investigate why she was parked there, they asked permission to search the vehicle.

Deputies didn't find anything in her truck, but they did find Hydrocodone bitartrate in her pockets.

She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and transported to the Jackson County Jail.
