The man fellow state prison inmates nicknamed H-and-R Block will remain in prison for at least another 5-years.
Thursday Federal Judge Richard Smoak sentenced 53-year-old Michael William Joseph to 63-months for income tax fraud.
In January, Joseph pled guilty to 70-counts including theft, filing false claims, conspiracy to defraud and to commit mail fraud.
Joseph filed 81-false income tax returns in the names of 41-inmates between February 2008 and July 2012. The I-R-S directly deposited refund checks into a bank account Joseph controlled.
The government seized almost 30-thousand, and Judge Smoak ordered Joseph to repay another 37-thousand dollars.
