Jury Reaches Partial Verdict in Killing Over Loud Music

The jury in the Florida loud music murder trial has reached a verdict.

Michael Dunn was found guilty of four of the five counts against him.

Dunn was accused of shooting several rounds into a vehicle with four teenagers after an argument about loud music.

17-year old Jordan Davis was killed.

Dunn was convicted on three counts of attempted second degree murder and of firing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.
a mistrial was declared on the count of first degree murder when the jury could not reach a verdict.

The jury could have convicted Dunn on charges of first degree attempted murder.

They had the option of convicting him of the lesser charge of second degree attempted murder and did so.
