Jury Selected for Coastal Community Holdings Federal Case

Jury is now in place to hear the federal trial of 2 former local bankers and an attorney.

Terry Dubose, Edward West, and Frank Baker are charged with several counts of fraud against the US Government out of $4 million dollars.

The charges stem from the defendants' time at the old Coastal Community Holdings bank.

Dubose was the bank's CEO, West was CFO, and Baker was the bank's attorney and on the board of directors.

They are being charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and seven counts of wire fraud, punishable up to 30 years in prison.

All the men have pleaded not guilty.

It took attorneys about 6 hours to select 9 women and 5 men for the jury.

The trial starts Tuesday morning at 8:30.
