PANAMA CITY - The Early Education and Care Head Start program is fundraising to keep some of their services afloat. The 21st annual Kidfest was held at the Central Panhandle Fairgrounds.
Admission was free and included unlimited access to over 90 children's activities. Organizers are hoping to spread the message to parents about educational programs.
"It gives us a chance to give information about the program into the hands of parents so that way, parents who are needing an educational program for their children ages 6 weeks to 4 years of age, they have a chance to know that there are the services here in our county," said Pam Fleege, Early Education and Care Executive Director.
There was face painting, arts and crafts, bounce houses, and bungee jump. Many sponsors showed up including the program Click It or Ticket.
Organizers expect more than 6,000 people enjoyed the festivities.
