The Christmas shopping rush is shifting into high gear as the clock ticks down to Old Saint Nick's visit.
Surveys by RetailMeNot.com and Consumer Reports predict upwards of 90% of us will shop right up until Christmas Eve.
Andre Boyd was out shopping for last minute gifts on Christmas Eve at Pier Park.
He said, "I just decided there was just one more thing that we wanted to get her [wife] for Christmas."
According to the National Retail Federation, $602 billion will be spent this holiday season.
With hours until Christmas morning, stores nationwide are buzzing with people trying to fill those holiday wish lists.
Meantime in Pier Park, shoppers are surprised with the turnout of last minute shoppers.
"It's not as crowded. I thought it was going to be crowded but it's really not," Boyd said.
The good news is that even if you've let time slip away, you were in store for some great last minute bargains.
"I find better bargain last minute," said Joan Dixon, Pier Park shopper.
Although there were six fewer shopping days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year than last, the National Retail Federation expects a 3.9% in holiday sales in 2013.
