Last Minute Shopping Down From Last Year

Locally, many business owners say the turnout in stores wasn't especially impressive this weekend.

The shops at Pier Park in Panama City Beach still had plenty of people working to get last minute shopping done, but many store managers say the amounts of people don't really compare to last year around this time.

The believe several factors could have played into it, including cooler weather and heavy traveling taking place. Many stores also said they experienced more traffic last weekend.

Many stores are offering impressive discounts over the weekend which could help sales until Christmas.
