Beginning this Sunday, all beach goers will have to remove their property from Panama City Beach by 9 pm or risk losing it forever.
Within the last 2 months both Bay County and Panama City Beach passed the so called "Leave No Trace" ordinances. It's designed to clean up the beach's image and remove safety hazards by requiring people ot remove tents, beach chairs, and other property.
Clean up crews will haul off anything left overnight.
Beach residents can leave their property on the beach overnight if they movie it up to the dune line, however officials warn that you will be doing so at your own risk.
