PANAMA CITY BEACH - A multi-day charity event is featuring dozens of horses from across the country while raising thousands for a local organization.
The 16th annual Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show and Music Festival showcases more than 100 horses with some coming as far as California.
Several bands and vendors participated in this year's event. It's the largest walking horse show in the state of Florida.
This year's proceeds will be going to the local Boys and Girls Club.
"You know to who much is given, much is required. I believe that God has put us on this earth to give back to the community and to give back to people and to do right on this Earth and this is just my small way of doing it," said Sister Milligan, Founder of the Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show and Music Festival.
Milligan says the event has donated more than $800,000 to various local charities.
