Local Man Possibly Faces 75 Years for Drug Possession

A Freeport man could face up to 75 years in prison on drug convictions.

A Walton County jury found 65 year old Luther Author Horn III, guilty Tuesday of two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs and one count of possession with intent to sell.

Walton County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Horn in June 2012 at his home.

Inside they found hundreds of prescription pills.

Witnesses testified Horn paid for them to travel to south Florida to doctor shop for painkillers at pill mills.

Horn faces a minimum of 25 years when he's sentenced in June.
