Local Red Cross Assisting Victims of Three Jackson County Fires

Red Cross Disaster Action Team members from the Central Panhandle Chapter have responded to assist victims of three separate Jackson County fires during the past 24 hours.

The first fire at 2824 Daffin Street, Marianna left one homeless.

The second fire at 3814 Missouri Road left a family of ten homeless and suffering the loss of the family dog.

The third fire at 2441 Mayberry Lane left a family of five homeless.

All 16 fire victims are receiving assistance with temporary lodging, food and clothing.

Those wishing to help local disaster victims so by going to www.redcross.org, or by making a donation to the local Red Cross Chapter located at 430 E. 15th Street, Panama City.
