Local Girl Raises Money For Bay Education Foundation

One 6-year-old is doing her part to help high school students in Bay County go to college.

Liza Meek set up a lemonade stand outsider her family's restaurant, Liza's Kitchen, to sell glasses of ice cold lemonade.

Each glass cost $2, but a donation jar was set up as well. The young entrepreneur came up with the idea on her own and decided before setting up that the money would all go to the Bay Education Foundation.

The stand made $416 which was matched by the restaurant bring the grand total to $832.
