PANAMA CITY BEACH - If there was ever any doubt Spring Break season is here, all you have to do is see who's playing at the Spinnaker Beach Club.

Once again, county superstar Luke Bryan is playing free shows for the visiting college students and locals brave enough to venture across the bridge. Bryan has become the anchor for what is usually the biggest week of the entire spring break season.

This is the sixth year Luke Bryan has performed free concerts for Spring Breakers, but he's been coming to Panama City Beach since he was a kid, spending his own Spring Breaks here when he was a student at Georgia Southern University.

When Kenny Chesney played his second free spring break concert in 2009, he brought Bryan along as an opening act. Bryan's been back each year since, even releasing special EPs (Extended Plays) with songs specifically written about Spring Break and Panama City Beach and he's attracted fans of all ages

Mac, a kid who's on Spring Break with his family, is one of his biggest fans, "I was in New Jersey and my sisters were at camp and I got to meet him."
"is he your favorite artist?"
"Yes."

Each year the crowds get bigger. In 2013, an estimated 110,000 people were there, even standing in the gulf to listen to the shows. Some even plan their vacations around Bryan's Panama City Beach appearances.

Katelyn French is a local to Panama City, "This is probably my third time seeing Luke Bryan in Panama City."
"What's your favorite song?"
"Probably 'Crash My Party.'"

If you missed Tuesday's show, don't worry. Bryan is playing a second free show at Spinnaker Wednesday afternoon beginning at 4:00.
