LYNN HAVEN - A local business man wants to reopen his deer processing business in Lynn Haven.

But Lynn Haven city officials may not let him.

The business used to be located behind Sandy's Feed and Seed on Highway 77.

The owner relocated as few years ago,. But now wants to move back to that spot. Lynn Haven city officials say they don't want a "slaughterhouse" within it's city limits anymore.

During today's workshop meeting commissioners came up with a plan of action for tomorrow's meeting. They've drafted an emergency ordinance that will outlaw wild game slaughterhouses.

The ordinance will have to carry a majority vote. If adopted it will allow the city to further research the topic and make a more permanent decision by April 22nd.
