LYNN HAVEN - A Lynn Haven woman is in the Bay County jail Tuesday facing child neglect charges.
Police arrested 30 year old Sheena Matthews Tuesday at her Minnesota Avenue home.
A housing authority inspector, who showed up for a prearranged inspection, claims they could hear a child crying inside.
A 5 year old girl opened the unlocked door to reveal she and the 15 month old boy were home alone.
Matthews returned and allegedly told authorities she and her boyfriend were arguing, he was refusing to take her calls, so she drove to a nearby pay phone to use a number he wouldn't recognize.
Officers arrested Matthews on the chid neglect charges.
The children are now in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.
