PANAMA CITY BEACH -- One local boy is about go on the trip of a lifetime thanks to an internationally known charity.
Seven year-old Ross Davis has Sanfilippo Syndrome, a disease that is slowly shutting down his body and limiting his mobility.
One of Ross' favorite hobbies is camping, so thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, next week the Davis' are packing up for a ten-day RV trip through the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, and Mount Rushmore.
"It's priceless," said Jessica Davis, Ross' Mother. "To be able to make these memories and to take these photos that will last a lifetime after he is gone. He has probably lived at least half of his short little life. When he's gone we'll be able look back and say 'Remember that, remember when we took him here and we got do that.'"
The Davis family leaves for Denver next Thursday. If you want to find out more about Sanfilippo Syndrome, or want to donate to help find a cure, you can go to the family's website.
