Powerball is not the only game in town. Florida is now participating in another multi-state lottery game.
Lottery outlets began selling tickets for Mega Millions wednesday morning. Mega Millions is available in 43 states and the District of Columbia.
It's very similar to Powerball, match five white ball numbers and the gold mega ball number to win. The only difference is the range of numbers is larger than Powerball, and the tickets are only $1 a piece.
This week's $190 million jackpot for friday's drawing isn't hurting sales.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions is the same as Powerball, about 1:175,000,000.
