Man Convicted of Unlawful Sexual Activity with Minors

SANTA ROSA COUNTY-- A man arrested last year was convicted this week by a Santa Rosa County jury of several charges, including lewd behavior and molestation, unlawful sexual activity with minors and tattooing a minor.

Ramon Wade Renfro, 40, of Pace supervised a group of teens on a camping trip in February 2013.

The State's Attorney Office says Renfro gave several teenage girls alcohol during the trip before molesting several of them.

He also tattooed two of the girls on the trip.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation after one of the girls spoke to her parents.

Renfro was arrested in May 2013, and his sentencing date is set for August 13th.

Renfro faces up to 50 years in State Prison.
