Kevin McCollum was sentenced Friday to 15 years in prison and 15 years probation for shooting his wife during an argument.
Assistant State Attorney Rob Sale told Circuit Judge Michael Overstreet that McCollum, 52, of 8935 Merlin Dr., Youngstown, shot his wife Lisa McCollum three times with a 38-caliber
pistol during an argument April 29.
Lisa McCollum, 48, suffered wounds to her shoulder, neck, back and upper chest from the shooting, but survived.
McCollum pleaded guilty last month to aggravated battery with great bodily harm while in possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was sentenced Friday in accordance with the plea agreement that Lisa McCollum approved.
