Man Wanted in Alabama Arrested in Panama City Beach

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the US Marshal’s North Florida Fugitive Task Force, apprehended a man wanted for sexual assault in Alabama Tuesday.

Task force members received a tip that 43 year old Donald Emory Lacey was in Bay County on Panama City Beach.

Lacey was wanted on a warrant out of Dothan, Alabama for rape.

Subsequent investigation revealed Lacey was living in a motel on Panama City Beach.

Task Force members confronted Lacey and took him into custody without incident.

Lacey, of 8001 Surf Drive in Panama City Beach, was taken to the Bay County Jail to await extradition to Dothan, Alabama.
