Thursday, officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a white in color Ford Crown Victoria for not having any operable brake lights.
A check of the driver, 38 year old Anthony Burgess, came back as him having an active warrant for his arrest for violation of probation.
Burgess was taken into custody and an inventory of the vehicle was conducted.
During that inventory several items were located to include items used to manufacture, transport, and ingest methamphetamine along with a bottle of liquid methamphetamine.
Burgess was transported to JCCF and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, attempted manufacture of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of listed chemicals and possession of drug paraphernalia.
