Locals are forking out money in hopes of winning what could be a record setting jackpot, more than 600-million dollars.
"I came to get some gas and then they mentioned the lottery and i had to snatch two of them," said Brandon Jackson Lottery Player.
Local gas stations were busier than usual Tuesday, with lottery players hoping to get their hands on a winning ticket.
"They're really excited. I keep on telling them good luck. I hope someone wins at least someone in this town."
The lump sum pay-out to a single winner, after taxes, would be at lest is 316-and-a-half million dollars.
And nearly everyone we spoke to have specific plans for the winnings.
"I would take my family on vacation. I would get myself a Bugatti," said Jackson.
"Gosh, there's so many things you can do with that. the martin theater, the kaleidoscope theater," said Bob Salit Lottery Player. "There's so much money you can help panama city and all of panama city beach."
The numbers will be drawn Tuesday night, and if no one wins this time, the jackpot could grow to more than 1-billion dollars for Friday's drawing.
