SANTA ROSA BEACH - Some Walton County middle school cheerleaders got a chance today to see how the pros do it. Some of the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders visited the cheer team at Emerald Coast Middle School in Santa Rosa Beach Wednesday afternoon.

The National Football League's Tennessee Titan cheerleaders are in South Walton this week, staying at The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, while being photographed for their upcoming calendar. The actual photo shoot doesn't take all day, so the ladies are performing some community service work.

They took time Wednesday to teach some younger cheerleaders the tricks of their shared trade.

They stopped by Emerald Coast Middle School to talk to the Stingrays' cheer squad.

Tandra, from the Titans said "This has been great the girls are fabulous and to come back watch their passion and the drive that they have. It's just...It's really exciting."

The Stingrays performed their routine for the Titans, then the pros took a turn, teaching the younger ladies some of their sideline routines.

The Titan cheerleaders visit a lot of schools when they're home in Nashville, and enjoy spending time with the students.

Tandra added, "We promise we were once in middle school, we were just like you. Hopefully they can learn from that and realize that they can do anything that they put their heart to whether it's becoming a doctor, becoming a professional cheerleader and a doctor, they can do it."

Malory, a 6th grade ECMS Cheerleader said, "I think it was just amazing cause when I saw them walking in I was like 'When I grow up I can be just like them. Just teaching everybody just different moves and just different things and make their entire lives change with they grow up."

And as for the Titan players they'll be cheering this season? Kiara, another Titans cheerleader said "Oh, I think it's gonna be pretty good this year. I'm really excited. We got a new coach, some new players."

Thursday, the Titan ladies will be heading to the Okaloosa County Fire Department to help bring awareness to burn victims.

This isn't the Titan squad's first trip to South Walton. They shot their 2011 calendar in Seaside.
