Amid the hustle and bustle of last minute shopping, shoppers in Pier Park came across quite a deal Sunday.
The Miracle Strip amusement park opened its gates for free. Usually you pay around $4 for each ride. Hundreds of people turned out to take advantage of the fun at no cost.
"It's been so special. We talked to the owners' sons and they said it was their dad's idea, and I said it's just a beautiful idea to be able to give this to the community," said Parent Holly Gardner.
"I actually think it's maybe over 300 people. It's a great response, people are having a great time, and we're just thrilled to see so many smiles on kids' faces," said Miracle Strip Owner Jenny Meeks.
