Panama City Beach Tourist Development Council officials have announced several big concerts they've booked, using BP marketing money.

Tthe fall concert series kicks-off the last weekend in August with a Christian Concert weekend featuring Toby Mac, Third Day and Switchfoot at Aaron Bessant Park. 6,500 tickets will be available for the shows. The concerts will take place Friday and Saturday with a worship service on Sunday.

Two of country music's hottest artists will be here in September. Miranda Lambert-Shelton will play at Frank Brown Park Friday, September 23rd with Jason Aldean the next night. There will be 15,000 tickets available for each concert.

The fall concert series will wrap up with Columbus Day weekend with a pirate festival at Pier Park. Nickelodeon's "I Carly" star Miranda Cosgrove will perform at Aaron Bessant Park Sunday afternoon.

People who book hotel/condo rooms with TDC lodging partners will get first shot at buying show tickets.

"Right now, the best way to get tickets, to make sure you get a space, is to stay out on the beach with one of our participating hotels or condos," said President of the Panama City Beach Tourist Development Council, Dan Rowe.

Remaining tickets for Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean will go on sale to the public 30 days before the shows. Miranda Cosgrove and the Christian concerts will be available 15 days in advance.
