Missing Crestview Boy Found

The search for a 3 year old asthmatic, autistic Crestview boy, missing for about a month now, is over.

Nevada authorities and FBI agents found Emmanuel Menz Thursday in Henderson, Nevada, right outside of Las Vegas.

They say Menz was with his parents 50 year old Karl R. Menz and 49 year old Virginia M. Lynch. Crestview police say the couple kidnapped the boy on March 6th during a supervised visit at a Burger King in Crestview.

They allegedly took off when the supervisor went to the bathroom.

Authorities believe they were traveling in a 2013 white Ford U-Haul rental van. When nevada police found them they were in the same van, but had peeled off the large stickers on the side.

Investigators believe they'd been camping out as they made their way across country.

Menz and Lynch will be extradited back to Florida to face charges of kidnapping. The Department of Children and Families is working with Nevada to arrange Emmanuel's return to foster care here in Florida.
