Mom Arrested in Baby's Death Investigation

A Paxton woman, Brandy Lee Tucker, 31, has been arrested in investigation into the death of her eight month old infant.

Tucker was charged and arrested for Negligent Manslaughter.

Walton County sheriff’s investigators say they learned in the investigation that Tucker left the infant unattended, in a tub of running water, while she chatted on a social network site for a period exceeding ten minutes.

The arresting affidavit says Tucker’s negligent actions resulted in the infant’s death. She was booked into the Walton County Jail in DeFuniak Springs this weekend.
