The city of Parker has offered the City Clerk's job to a local woman with lots of experience.
During a special meeting Monday city council members interviewed the five finalists for the job and then officially offered it to Nancy Rowell.
Council members say they decided on Rowell because they believe she has the best credentials for the job and has been involved in other local city government's.
Rowell has served as City Clerk for both Springfield and Callaway.
Parker went in search of a new clerk after the arrest and subsequent firing of former clerk, Adonna Mullens.
