Naval Support Activity Panama City prepares for ISAAC

Panama City Beach, Fla. … Base officials at Naval Support Activity Panama City set modified Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 Monday, Aug. 27, in preparation for tropical storm Isaac.

The base announced to employees that it will be closed Tuesday August 28, and plans for a delayed opening Wednesday August 29.

Only essential security and emergency personnel will be allowed on board the activity.

Residents of the base will shelter in place or have the option of relocating, but no evacuation is planned.
