Over the next 2-months, Wal-Mart will be responsible for nearly 500 new jobs here in Bay County.
Management has already started interviewing job applicants for the newest Bay County Supercenter on Back Beach Road, next to Pier Park.
The site, at the corner of Back Beach Road and Powell Adams Road, is nearly completed.
Managers say they need 200 full-time, part-time and seasonal workers. Some can begin training immediately. Others will start when the store opens by the end of February.
"There are no educational requirements. You don't have to have any job experience, whatsoever. We train fully at all positions. We're looking for hourly supervisors, overnight stockers. We're looking for sales associates, cashiers, day shift, second shift, overnight," said Store Manager Jennifer Ross.
If you are interested, you can apply on-line or in-person at the Wal-Mart Hiring Center at 17208 Back Beach Road.
