The Niceville Eagle Pride Band marched in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday morning.

The band played a swing treatment of “Jingle Bells” that they called “Jazzy Jingle Bells."

More than 400-members of the Eagle Pride band left the North Florida Regional Airport Monday morning for New York.

The band practiced their routine for nealy two years and worked to raise money for the trip.

Although the band has played at the Rose Bowl and Carnegie Hall, for many this is their first trip to New York City. But it was not the first time Niceville's Band Director, Daniel Wooten, has taken part in this Thanksgiving tradition. He marched in the parade 36 years ago

The Eagle Pride Band was one of the first five bands in Thursday's parade which was seen on WJHG News Channel 7.
