One Arrested, Two Wanted in Connection With Monday Morning Shooting

The Bay County Sheriff's Office has arrested one man and are currently looking for two others in connection with a shooting early Monday morning that sent one female to the hospital in critical condition.

19 year old Blake Youngblood was arrested and charged with improper exhibition of a weapon or firearm, tampering with physical evidence, and making a false official statement.

It happened about 3:30 Monday morning at a home on 29th Court, off Lisenby Avenue near the old Bay County airport.

Investigators say Youngblood and two other men were in the victim's bedroom playing video games, when Youngblood pulled out a handgun and fired a shot.

The victim, 19-year old Jesi Mack was hit in the abdomen by the bullet.

It passed through several internal organs, barely missing a major artery, before exiting Mack's body.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they say Youngblood initially told them he stayed to help Mack but investigators believe he along with Renaldo "Majestic" Williams and another man known only as "DJ" left the scene.

Mack's mother called 9-1-1.

Mack was initially listed as being in critical condition, but after surgery her condition was upgraded to serious, but stable condition.

If you have any information about Renaldo "Majestic" Williams or the other man "DJ", please call the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 747-4700.
