One-Vehicle Accidents Kills Panama City Resident

PANAMA CITY BEACH-- A one-vehicle accident killed a 67-year-old woman in Bay County Friday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol officials say Panama City resident Marjorie Palmer was headed west on Magnolia Road in the outside lane around 10:30 a.m Friday.

She began to change to the inside lane then continued into the grass median where she hit a tree.

Palmer was sent to Bay Medical Hospital and died as a result of the accident.

Officials say Palmer was wearing her seat belt, and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
