Oyster Bash for the SEALAB

The SEALAB - 1 is a piece of history that used to find its home under the sea, now locals are hoping to raise money to restore the exhibit as it sits in its current home, here in Bay County.

Saturday afternoon, hundreds came to the Dive Lab throughout the day to enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet of raw and steamed oysters.

The money raised will go to restore the historic monument at the Man in the Sea Museum.

Last year, the event raised $4,500, this year, the goal is to raise $6,000.
