A Tuesday evening traffic crash involving a S-U-V and a motorcycle leaves two Panama City Beach residents dead.

A traffic crash involving a SUV and a motorcycle leaves two Panama City Beach residents dead. It happened at the intersection of Moylan Road and Clarence St.

Florida Highway Patrol says 71-year-old Joyce Mickschl of LaCrosse, Wisconsin was driving her SUV northbound on Moylan Road in Panama City Beach while 54 year-old Scott Davis and passenger 48 year-old Melissa Deberry were southbound on a motorcycle.

Troopers say Mickschl turned left into the path of the motorcycle and they collided.

Davis and Deberry were pronounced dead on scene. The crash happened at 5:15 PM and closed Moylan for almost three hours.

Charges are pending against Mickschl, the driver of the SUV, who was not injured.
