PCPD Investigating Monday Night Armed Robbery at Fill-Up

The Panama City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Fill- Ups Store on West Highway 98 around 8:30 Monday night.

Officers and detectives responded to Fill-Ups after the store clerk reported that 2 males entered the store wearing red bandanas over their faces, black jackets, blue jeans and gloves.

One black male subject brandished a handgun, demanding money from the store clerk as another white male subject stood in the doorway.

Following the robbery, the males fled from the store on foot towards 19th Street.

Officers located the black jackets, gloves, and bandanas discarded by the subjects near 19th Street and Michigan Avenue.

A Bay County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit assisted in the search and tracked the subjects from the store to the same intersection where the clothing was located.

The subjects may have entered an unknown vehicle at that point.

The males are described as being possibly in there 20’s; 5’8” in height and medium builds.
