State troopers have identified a Panama City Beach man who was killed overnight in a traffic crash.
The accident happened around 3:30 Friday morning on Front Beach Road near the intersection of Moylan Road.
Troopers say 55-year-old Billy Lavan Wilkins was riding a bicycle eastbound on Highway 98, when a car hit him from behind.
The impact threw Wilkins into the car's windshield, causing suffered severe head injuries. Paramedics took Wilkins to Bay Medical Center where Doctors declared him dead.
The drive of the car, 24-year old Lames Antonio Hubbard was not hurt. The crash is still under investigation.
