PANAMA CITY --
After Panama City commissioners expressed concern over their lawyer's fees, it seems Burke and Blue is coming up with a proposal.
Nevin Zimmerman of Burke and Blue has represented the commission for ten months and since then commissioners say his fees have been skyrocketing.
What started out as an $11,000 bill for the month of April became a $33,000 bill in October.
Commissioners addressed the issue in the last city meeting and Burke and Blue is now coming up with a proposal.
Zimmerman will propose a $300,000 cap per year in this Tuesday's meeting. That would mean an average bill of $25,000 a month.
Commissioner John Kady has previously said $10,000 - $15,000 is what he's aiming for. Commissioners will meet this coming Tuesday at City Hall.
