Parker will officially begin accepting applications for their city clerk position.
Adonna Mullen was officially fired from the position during a special meeting today.
Parker police arrested Mullen Wednesday at city hall as they were searching her office, charging her with falsely reporting a crime, perjury, and resisting an officer without violence.
She's also charged with one felony, filing a false insurance claim.
Investigators say Mullen sold an air conditioning unit to her parents, then reported it stolen so she could file a claim with her insurance company.
Mullen says she didn't know her parents had taken the air conditioner, and that this is a big misunderstanding. She says her termination is based on conflicts after she had the bookkeeper fired.
The city council will make a final decision in the coming weeks. A cut off date for accepting applications hasn't been set.
