The Biggest Loser is coming to Panama City.
Sunday the half marathon, 5K and 1 mile kids' fun run kicks off at Frank Brown Park.
Biggest Loser RunWalk participants picked up their t-shirts and numbers at the Healthy Living Expo Saturday all in preparation for Sunday's race.
The event is called a RunWalk because not everyone can run, but former TV show contestants say that shouldn't stop anyone from trying.
"The Biggest Loser is all about beginnings," said Danny Cahill, Season 8 Winner.
More than 2,000 people are registered.
Some of them traveled from across the US for compete in the 2nd annual RunWalk in Panama City Beach.
First-time marathon runners to top athletes say they're inspired by the hit NBC show and are excited to get advice from the cast members themselves.
"Come out and meet us because we really want to shake your hand and tell you that you too can have a new beginning," Cahill said.
As the new year approaches, thousands of Americans have the resolution to lose weight.
"There's always the new year new you, but there's always today to make that new you happen," said Jeff Nichols from Season 14.
The half marathon starts Sunday at 8:00 a.m. at Frank Brown Park.
The 5K starts at 8:20 a.m.
Organizers say you can sign up for a race Sunday at Frank Brown Park, but you have to come at least an hour before the first race begins.
