Pro-life Activists Arrive in Panama City

Updated: Tue 9:06 AM, Aug 28, 2012

The storm is not keeping some people from traveling to Florida trying to spread their message as the GOP convention kicks off.
Pro-life activists arrived in Panama City Monday afternoon on a bus tour targeting the defeat of President Obama and Senator Bill Nelson.
The Susan B. Anthony bus tour is making thirty stops in five states in hopes of calling attention to what they call the “extreme abortion record” of President Obama.
Their main goals are to stop all federal funding of abortion and to end tax payers funding to Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood says abortion is a safe and legal way to end pregnancy, and they are one of the largest abortion providers.
Former Colorado Representative Marilyn Musgrave helped lead the tour and spoke of why Florida is one of their big stops.
"We want to defeat President Obama, the most pro-abortion president ever. Also, to defeat his extreme team, one of them in Florida is Bill Nelson," said Musgrave.
The group ended their tour in Florida this evening, with a final stop in Tallahassee.
