Rallying For Girls Critically Injured in Parasailing Accident

PANAMA CITY BEACH - The best in people tends to come out during times of crisis. Such is the case in the tragic parasailing accident that critically injured two teenage girls.

17-year-olds Sidney Good of Roanoke and Alexis Fairchild of Huntington, Indiana were injured Monday when their parasail broke free from a tow boat. The girls hit a condo building, power lines and several cars on their way down.

Residents of Alexis’ hometown gathered Tuesday afternoon to pray for the girls. But the calls for divine intervention do not end there. In fact, people around the country are praying for Good and Fairchild. You can share your thoughts and prayers on Facebook and twitter using #prayforsidneyandalexis.

Friends of Sidney and Alexis also created an on-line fund, hoping to raise $10,000 for the girls and their families. If you’d like to donate, click here.
