A rebuild fund has been set up at Regions bank to help the funding of rebuilding Cosson’s Rent-All. The name of the account is Cosson's Store Repair. It is to help them build a new building and reopen. Donations can be made at any branch location.
Cosson’s Rent-All and Sandblasting went up in flames Wednesday morning and was a total loss.
For 55 years, the business has been renting and repairing tools, lawn equipment and small engines. Authorities believe a welding job on a lawn mower sparked the fire in the gas tank, and it didn’t take long for the flames to take over the building.
The owner of Cosson’s says that his business was uninsured. His employees are volunteers. He will need a whole lot of volunteers in the next couple of months to get his business back on track.
Cosson’s opened its doors at the corner of Cherry Street and Business 98 in 1957 and he plans to rebuild at that same location.
