Rosemary Beach - Good news for local runners! One of Northwest Florida's most popular road races will be open to twice as many participants this fall. Registration begins Monday morning for the second annual 30A 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run in Rosemary Beach on Thanksgiving Day.
For the first time it's open to 2,000 runners, those spots are expected to go fast. Last year the fundraising run sold out with 800 runners raising $18,000 for Danny Margagliano, a South Walton fireman paralyzed in a diving accident.
This fall, the run will benefit 3 organizations: Donations for Danny, Food for Thought Outreach, and Lighthouse Family Retreat. We've provided a link to register.
