Registration Begins for Super Tuesday Multi-City Elections

PANAMA CITY - Tuesday is the first day locals can register for city office positions before Super Tuesday multi-city elections in April.

Registration at the Bay County Government Center is open until this Friday until noon.

Residents can qualify for 11-positions in the four participating cities - Springfield, Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, and Callaway. The Bay County Supervisor of Elections office is trying to make sure voters and candidates are prepared for the April 22nd election.

"It's just important that they get their information ready in each city. Their signatures updated their addresses updated all those kinds of things need to be ready to go so that when election time hits that its a positive effect that they run into at the polling place," said Mark Andersen, Bay County Supervisor of Elections.
