With the expected chilly weather Saturday night, organizations that provide beds for the homeless are preparing for large crowds.
Volunteers at the Panama City Rescue Mission spent time preparing for the night. Their policy is if the weather drops below 35 degrees, they will not turn any anyone looking for a bed.
Teams were pulling out cots, blankets, and pillows for everyone that shows up at their doorstep tonight.
"We want the welfare and the shelter for them," said Rescue Mission Innkeeper David Bishop. "We wanna provide them a warm place to stay and give them something to eat tonight and you know, just take care of them as Christ would have us do."
