DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) -- A federal grand jury has indicted two Dothan men in a string of three armed robberies in southeast Alabama.
25-year-old Milas Antwon Grant III and 33-year-old Throne Thomas Smiley were indicted this week.
The men are charged with holding up stores and gas stations in Cowarts, Enterprise and Ashford from April through June.
The men were arrested after DNA found on a pair of gloves used in a robbery in Mariana, Fla., led authorities to Grant.
Records show shots were fired during each of the three holdups in Alabama. Smiley suffered a gunshot wound to an arm after a clerk opened fire at a gas station in Ashford on June 8.
