Tuesday marks "Fat Tuesday" the end of Mardi Gras. The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort sent out the season with a major celebration. The parade was the last Mardi Gras event here in the Panhandle.

If you couldn't make it to New Orleans for Fat Tuesday, Sandestin may have been the next best thing. The resort hosted its 10th annual Mardi Gras parade Tuesday night at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The crowds showed up by the hundreds-- with one thing on their minds--beads!

This year's parade was one of Sandestin's biggest Mardi Gras celebrations, with sixty float entries.
