Springfield and Callaway fire departments and the Bay County Sheriff's Office responded to a house fire on Caruso Drive in the Sandy Creek area shortly after 12:30 this morning.
Residents awoke during the night, discovered the fire burning inside the home and dialed 9-1-1.
The second story of the home collapsed putting most of the flames out.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The Red Cross was called-in to assist the family.
The home was in the process of being sold to the current residents.
Firefighters remained on scene searching for hot-spots.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
